Great or Very Good

I wanted to make brief comment, on recent visit and performance of Scarlet Rivera,
and not be able to offer any substantive remark on great or very good, because really
there are people who might offer better in sight than myself.   There is more info

So I will say this, I think part of great is the ability of an artist to grow, which in Scarlet
Rivera's case, I believe was evident in her July 23 concert.

However, obliquely I will say when I think of Scarlet Rivera I think of Stephan Grappelli,
Papa John Creach, and Claude Fiddler Williams all of whom, were great for their
innovative ways of complementing guitar music in a distinctive fashion, an ability which
Scarlet Rivera shares with them.

We are fortunate here in Duluth, because she likes the area, and performs here frequently.

Now,  I will not say anything about Duluth weather or American electoral politics.

Another Cloudy Scarlet Rivera Day

    Well, we are having just another cloudy, Scarlet Rivera Day, you know where.
Please use your imagination here - where else would there be a Scarlet Rivera Day?

It's just cloudy, a bit threatening - ( to rain ) - so if you were planning a parade,
you might have a second thought.  It's just a bit of ( okay maybe ) - laid back intense.
You'd be surprised how much of that we get.

So, just to be on the up and up - - it's really the first Scarlet Rivera Day so we can not
go back through our archives and get the facts, as there are no archives.

So, I just had to note it someplace, and the only place it would really be appropriate
would be with Demons and Dogmas -- but, really that wouldn't work unless maybe
it was on Huahine.

Finally, sometimes, you should just be grateful for the clouds.  Could be sunny
in Finland, eh?
